Tattoo Booking Checklist

Booking an appointment – and navigating the things that you should know about your new tattoo – can be confusing and overwhelming, so we’ve created a number of resources to help our customers.

Our 5 Step Tattoo Checklist

  1. Discuss your tattoo and make an appointment with your chosen artist, Teal or Harry!
    • Our artists are often booked up months in advance, so bear this in mind when enquiring
    • Please note your tattoo will not be sketched up weeks in advance, so please don’t chase pictures. Any additional sketches or drawings needed, will be completed closely to the date of your appointment
  2. In the weeks leading up to your appointment:
    • Avoid any excessive sun exposure and prevent any sunburn, peeling or damage
    • Keep the tattoo site exfoliated and well moisturised
  3. On the day of your appointment:
    • Drink plenty of water
    • Ensure you eat something substantial between 1 and 2 hours ahead of your appointment
    • Do not drink any alcohol ahead of your appointment
    • Whilst there is a toilet at the studio which can be used, we do ask that you use your own toilet beforehand, as the waste pipes are delicate and cannot accommodate solids
    • Make sure you’ve completed your tattoo waiver ahead of your appointment:

HARRY’S WAIVER FORM

  1. Some things to remember to bring with you to your appointment:
    • Your proof of age/ID
    • Payment for the balance of your tattoo
    • Bottle of water or a low-sugar energy drink (recommended)
  2. Somethings to remember after you’ve had your tattoo:
    • Keep the tattoo site clean and dry
    • Keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight for at least 2 weeks
    • Moisturise several times per day from the day after your tattoo appointment
    • Apply sunscreen (SPF 30+) to fully healed tattoos, to prevent the UV rays fading the ink
